Compare and Synchronize MySQL Database Schemas
SQL Examiner 2010 introduces the support for MySQL database schemas. The new release of SQL Examiner enables
seamless comparison and synchronization of database schemas created in MySQL 4.x, 5.x and higher.
Cross-Platform Schema Comparison
SQL Examiner 2010 includes full support for databases created in Microsoft SQL Server and partial support for
Oracle 10g and 11g. The latest release of SQL Examiner enables seamless comparison and synchronization of
database schemas between different DBMS platforms, enabling users to compare MS SQL database schemas to Oracle,
Oracle to MySQL, and so on. SQL Examiner and its accompanying product, SQL Data Examiner, are parts of
SQL Examiner Suite 2010. Used in combination, these tools perform cross-platform comparison and synchronization
of both schema and data, covering all your database comparison needs.
Supported Object Types
SQL Examiner 2010 supports all objects used in MySQL databases. The following types of objects are supported without limitations:
- Tables
- Views
- Constraints (primary key, foreign key, default, check)
- Indexes
- Procedures
- Functions
- Triggers
- User Privileges
The other object types are not supported and cannot be synchronized.
